IIM Rohtak IPM Aptitude Test 2027

• The aptitude test examines your ability in mathematics, logical reasoning, and English proficiency.
• The question paper has 120 questions, each carrying 4 marks.
• Every wrongly answered question carries a negative mark of −1.
• All questions are multiple-choice questions.
• Unlike IIM Indore, there is no sectional time limit — you can attempt any section during the 2-hour exam.
• Only candidates scoring above the IPMAT cut-off are shortlisted for the personal interview.
• The interview assesses academics, general awareness, and communication skills.

IPMAT Rohtak Marking Scheme 2027

You will be awarded +4 for every correct answer, and −1 for every wrong answer across all three sections. No marks are allotted or deducted for unattempted questions.

Personal Interview (PI)

• Revisit your application: Refresh your memory on the details you submitted. Be ready to elaborate on your achievements, experiences, and motivations.
• Practice common IPM interview questions: Look up common IPM interview questions and rehearse them aloud. Focus areas include:
  • Tell me about yourself.
  • Why IPM and why IIM Rohtak?
  • Your strengths and weaknesses.
  • Educational background and favourite subjects.
  • Current affairs and general knowledge.
  • Leadership experiences (if any).
  • Hobbies and extracurriculars.
• Prepare questions for the interviewer: Show curiosity with thoughtful questions about the programme, career opportunities, or student life at IIM Rohtak.
• Practice extempore: In the IPM Rohtak interview, all candidates are asked to speak on a current-affairs or general-knowledge topic. Prepare thoroughly.

IPMAT 2027 Rohtak Final Selection

Final selection happens in the following stages:

• Online Registration: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria register and pay a non-refundable fee of ₹4,937.
• IPM Aptitude Test: All applicants take the aptitude test assessing QA, LR, and English proficiency.
• Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates attend an online PI evaluating academics, communication, and general awareness.
• Final Selection: Merit list is generated based on the Composite Score (CS).
