SLAT – Symbiosis Law Admission Test

Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune has established itself as one of India's premier law institutions over its 46-year history. In the NIRF 2024 rankings, SLS Pune advanced to the 5th position among law colleges in India, up from 6th the previous year.

Admission Process

Eligibility

• Completed 10+2 with ≥45% (General/OBC/NRI) or ≥40% (SC/ST).
• Students awaiting their Class XII results are also eligible to apply.

Registration & Login

• Visit the official SLAT portal: slat-test.org or set-test.org.
• Click Register, enter email/phone, and create a password.

Upload Documents

• Recent passport-size photograph.
• Scanned signature.
• Class 10 & Class 12 mark sheets and ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN).

Payment of Fees

• SLAT registration fee: ₹2,250 per attempt.
• Programme fee: ₹1,000 per Symbiosis Law School you apply to (Pune, Noida, Hyderabad, Nagpur).
• Pay online via Card, Net Banking, UPI, Billdesk/Easebuzz, or DD. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Confirmation & Admit Card

• After payment, your SLAT ID & password are sent via email/SMS.
• Download and print your admit card once released.

Exam Pattern & Attempts

• One-hour CBT with 60 MCQs, no negative marking.
• Both December test dates can be attempted; the best score counts.

Post-Exam Rounds

• SLAT scores are followed by a Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction.
• Each Symbiosis Law School may run its own WAT/PI process.
